ok you got me with your sweet dog and goofy cat stuck in blinds and wry if relentless pleas and yeah sure i'll take a discount too. i do similar stuff - though on staff so don't have to plead - on common dreams. not nearly as prolific; the last few years have kinda wrung me out, though it's unclear if my editor has noticed yet i'm no longer posting daily. you should have a contest with heather cox richardson, who seems indefatigable; i'll often be trudging through a post at 2 or 3 a.m. and hear the emall ding of her usually-7-days-a-week labors. impressive. anyway as a periodically depressive (but still doggedly progressive and even occasionally slightly hopeful) jew i love your title - yes, it is, mostly - also the old movie stuff and ok i guess there's always something to say about our politics, though surely you, like i, sometimes think, feck it, enough. not into star trek, but you can't have everything i've heard. thanks for the pets, the laughs, the persistence, abby
thank you for joining! the grind is a grind for sure; I've been writing an article a day (at least) for like 20 years now? 15 more to go till retirement...
What got me to sign up to the free version were the two insightful reviews of Sirk films. I've been thinking about going paid ever since and the discount plus your presence on Notes finally got me.
Oh, that's cool. One sirk and one Haynes I think! I'm going to write about Carol, another Haynes Sirk-like effort, soon I think, so watch this space, etc.!

I admit it. Star Trek and wanting to see the analyses and the sale did it for me.
it's nice to hear someone is into the star trek! I wasn't really sure...
The sale caught my eye, but your writing hooked me. Also the Trek. Love the Trek.
