A candidate who largely adapts Eisenhower's platform while removing the racism and misogyny inherent in the 50's and replacing it with formidable DEI restoration would be well positioned to message both domestic and foreign policy. Moreover, the candidate can reference Eisenhower (socially liberal Republicanism). Progressive policies and adherence to the Constitution and rule of law are both top of mind.
I am a liberal voter who will never join the Dem party exactly because of the points you make about sacrificing policy for votes. Integrity is my north star.
I think you could stand to go quite a bit further. A necessary part of the anti-fascist agenda needs to be locking up (and possibly even executing) fascist criminals. Up to and including the president.
oh sure. I think Biden should have shipped trump to a black site as soon as he entered office. obviously would have been super controversial, but I think we'd be a lot better off.
We need to reach across the aisle to pull them over to the right (antifascist) side. Agreeing with fascists about anything is giving them power. No one will see that they’re trying to compromise or find middle ground, only that they said the fascists were (at least partially) right. There needs to be a clear line that we’re not crossing. The dems found enough conviction to keep from funding ICE. They need to take the win and keep pushing.

I don't think anti-fascists should platform anything with "Republican" in it.
