It’s always boggled my mind how people who don’t go out and publicly protest are so certain about what tactics will work or not. I trust other adults in such a tough position of going directly up against state power to do what’s right and sensible for themselves.

The Minneapolis police blinded 2 reporters with their “rubber” BULLETS. And Linda Tirado is in hospice due to the brain damage from the “non-lethal” BULLET. The police target the press.

I was born in Los Angeles, my parents and grandparents were born in Los Angeles. My family has lived over 100 years in LA. My grandfather and his brother fought against fascism and the murder of their cousins and family members in WW2.

I am glad that they are dead, so that they cannot see the USA fascism in their beloved country and city.

Too much emphasis on proper protestor behavior also leaves us too open to right-wing provocation and false flag operations. In Minneapolis, the infamous Umbrella Man and Boogaloos committed a lot violence.

Hear, hear! As an aside, I didn’t know that factoid about Ghandi and the holocaust. Yeesh. No thank you. I will not accept totalitarianism and oppression without a fight.

The MAGA crowd is laughing at our timidity. I know this, because I've been in yelling matches with them. They fully expect to be able to intimidate us with their jack boots and performative displays.

During a March for Our Lives protest in my small town, several local Trump supporters walked through the crowd while wearing AR-15s slung on their backs. Watching people slink out of the way turned my stomach. These meatheads were hardly going to start shooting people in front of a dozen cops. And they were locals, so we all knew their names. But their display of toxic masculinity had the desired effect on the crowd. I fully expect they will show up again on June 14th. I plan on giving them the finger and making them walk around me like I did last time.

The questions that are not being asked and should be asked is "Why did these people feel the need to protest? Are they acting for the greater good or for their own selfish desires?" The former should be celebrated and the latter should not. This debate only confuses the issue and conflates the two sides into one group when they may be working towards different goals.

UNCOMFORTABLY NUMB OR NEVER SUCCUMB? WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE?

Not a day goes by where the news doesn't disgust me. What's worse is that no matter how insane or cruel, it no longer comes as a surprise. The once unbelievable has become the norm.

We’ve come to expect dishonesty and corruption from our politicians, as well as the implementation of underhanded policies behind the scenes. America has a history of meddling in foreign countries’ politics, orchestrating coups and supporting dictators, if these actions supported U.S. dominance. Under Trump and his criminal Republican Regime, the same tactics have come home to roost and subvert the rights of American citizens.

The fact that human beings are suffering and dying is downplayed constantly by this administration’s greed and power lust. The hypocrisy of claiming to fight antisemitism and supporting the Israeli genocide of Palestinians, while Neo Nazis frequent Mara Lago is stunning. The abandonment of Ukraine as it fights for survival against Russian hostilities is despicable, and obviously motivated by Trump’s and the majority of his Cabinet Comrades’ fealty to Putin.

The DOGE desecration of departments like USAID, will continue to erode America’s reputation and the soft power gained through humanitarian efforts worldwide. Instead, this regime’s callous lack of concern for the survival of others in foreign nations will foster a whole new generation of “Death to America,” chanting terrorists.

The across the board dismantling of programs customarily lauded as mandatory and compassionate social safety nets at home, will further condemn the less fortunate among us to suffering, hunger and even death. The denial of climate change and the erasure of environmental protections, will lead to the exploitation of treasured conservation land and national parks and rob our children of their rightful inheritance.

Trump’s racist persecution and purge of immigrants, while serving to pacify the most extreme MAGA members of his base, is decimating families in the most cruel and humiliating ways. Deporting those the Regime considers sub human is not only a tragedy for those hard working people simply trying for a better future, it will also prove disastorous to farmers and other employers who rely heavily on the labours of those immigrants.

The deployment of 2,000 National Guard to quell protests in Los Angeles is a disgrace. Trump is salivating at the opportunity to demonstrate his control over the U.S. military. Pete Hegseth, the white nationalist head of the Department of Defence has already indicated that the Marines are ready to join in with the subversion of legal protests.

Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan is happily using ICE and wrongfully pardoned J6 insurrections, to fill domestic GEO Corp concentration camps. Homan served as an adviser to GEO, before being appointed Border Czar by Trump. GEO was a major contributor to a PAC supporting Trump’s reelection. It’s worth noting that Attorney General Pam Bondi served as a lobbyist for Geo as well.

In mere months, Republicans have accomplished what they have desired for decades. They have erased human rights and empathy for others from their political vocabulary. They intend to dismantle the remnants of democracy completely, if their Big Bullshit Bill passes in the Senate.

Everyone knew everything despicable about Trump, and yet here we are, in autocratic hell. It's hard to believe that some of our species has not evolved beyond barbaric tribalism. We must stand against the rampant corruption. We must rescue, preserve and cherish the freedoms we are entitled to, before the soulless megalomaniacs destroy all that is priceless and honourable.

The French Partisans were not non-violent in WW2. The Tutsis were not non-violent when they ended the genocide by the Hutus. The Israelis are not non-violent!

When dogs and horses and batons and bullets are used to beat people into submission for “peacefully protesting”, why are they required to take more beatings? That doesn’t make any sense. And it allows the fascists to continue.

What purpose is served by kidnapping fruit vendors? How does that help Los Angelians? It doesn’t.

It's self defense when Hamas is stealing provisions. They've had full control of Gaza since 2005 and what have they done? Built tunnels and planned Israel's destruction. I read the room just fine, thank you.

You're not fooling anyone with those ridiculous lies. There is zero evidence that Hamas is stealing or hoarding food. In fact, Israel admitted they are paying gangs of criminals to hijack aid trucks. And we see them with our own eyes blocking aid. Israel has admitted starvation is their plan! The occupation of Gaza never ended, it's been under siege since 2005, and Israel has had full control of people and goods entering or leaving that entire time.

Ilan Pappe, Israel’s most serious and prolific historian, documents that the Stern gang began wiping out whole Palestinian villages in preparation for the arrival of Jewish refugees back in the 40s.

The coveted victim label is super dependent on where we begin a narrative.

It's classic Clinton NeoLiberalism—they kind-of disagree the Republicans, sometimes...but they HATE HATE HATE!!!!! The Left with a passion!

Listening to Notorious P-Lousy rave against "Antifa" rather than the NAZIS! ACTUAL FUCKING NAZIS! in Charlottesville during the First Felonious Traitor Trump Regime really brought just how Clinton NeoLiberals are nothing but Reagan Republicans with some token disagreements on social issues like abortion or gay rights, which they will immediately jettison for a short-term political advantage.
