Why did Israel abandon its prior non-partisan lobbying in favour of a full-throated embrace of the far-right (not just in the US but also in Europe): did they somehow forget that it was far-rightists (the Nazis and their collaborators across Europe) who perpetrated the Holocaust?
Were they more afraid of Europe turning against Israel due to mass Muslim immigration, than due to the the resurgence of the more traditional right-wing kind of antisemites?
