Starz cancels shows really fast. I liked the show Boss, with Kelsey Grammar as a dying old school Chicago pol, and that went two seasons. Ash vs. Evil Dead. They just don't stick with shows unless 50 Cent is producing them.
I WEPT when Counterpart was cancelled. That was an incredible show and Starz sucks because we get umpteen seasons of Power and just two of that show. And I think three seasons of Ash vs. Evil Dead.
I'm glad someone else in this universe watched Counterpart. That show was amazing.
it was so good. really depressing when they cancelled it…but I guess inevitable given how little attention it attracted.
Am I crazy or did they not advertise that show at all?
I'm not sure...it didn't get almost any think piece/cultural coverage though, which is weird considering how respected Simmons is.
it was not based on a legacy property, which maybe hurt? I just don't know.

I give the writers credit for wrapping up Counterpart well in two seasons. But that show was the best show on television and nobody knew it.

Totally agree re: Counterpart. I adored it. Mad respect for Simmons; good to know not to be tempted with this film.
