Yesterday we witnessed truly *effortless* and *instantaneous* consensus and unity within the Democratic Party, behind Kamala Harris.

Pinch me. Am I dreaming? When have we ever seen anything like this in the history of the Democratic Party?

Huckster Donald J. Slimeball is a goner.

I don’t think it was effortless! I think Harris was as putting in a lot of effort behind the scenes…

I have set aside popcorn for when Kamala is face to face with Putin.

Even better. She’s got to be able to do that to be an effective candidate and President

I'll always remember during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, my Trumpy coworker complaining about how mean she was to him.

This is going to be great.

Being in the audience for a dissection performed by Dr. Kamala Harris is great theater.

I don’t know if I will ever forgive Ezra Klein. Maybe when President Harris is inaugurated. She was my first choice in 2020 when there were 20+ candidates and MAGAs were dying because they refused to wear masks. The role of the press and pundit class has been shameful. I’m ready to get to work on GOTV for Harris, but it is time for the press to start reporting on how demented and sick Trump and Vance are.

I’m trying to grok the reasoning behind Republicans like Mike Johnson and Trump calling on Biden to resign the presidency, Are they afraid of what he’ll accomplish by January? See some advantage in running against incumbent President Harris instead of incumbent VP Harris? Don’t want VP Harris overseeing the electoral college vote in January? Merely reacting without thinking, in true MAGA fashion?

Contributing to d disunity is good for them; calling for Biden to step down was the best way to contribute to disunity. Now that Ds are unified, they aren’t happy.

Honestly the uncertainty having collapsed was a relief. I'm pissed as hell at the media circus this generated and really want to burn major media outlets to the ground.

Yay Harris, boo MSM.

Idk if you read the civil discourse newsletter they were all literally crying about losing Biden. But maybe that’s a very small nerdy democrat group

Yeah…I suspect they’ll get behind Harris.

Please don’t put down those of us who supported Biden fiercely. I will absolutely vote for Harris, but I still think Biden could have done it.

Like I said, I didn't think he would drop out! (and didn't really think he should.) and yes, I think he still could have won.

I wanted Biden, but I’m all in for Harris. Hopefully he can be a foreign policy advisor to her Presidency.

After raising $46.7 Million by 9 pm yesterday, Act Blue raised another $6 million in the next 30 minutes. Haven’t seen the final days total yet. The grass roots is fine with Harris and ready to put their energy into beating Trump.

Well. If America votes in a Black Female as President- I will literally fall off my chair.

Companies can’t put Black women in as leaders.

Tall white men. This country likes tall white men as leaders- no matter how mediocre they are.

We need Newsome as the nominee. Not cause he could govern better than Harris, simply because he is a tall white man- and he is handsome, which also helps.

We may have a JD Vance presidency in 2027- when Trump dies. I can’t even write how horrible it will be to live in the USA under President Vance. Especially for the many millions in “red states”.

If Harris is the nominee- she will lose-because she is short and doesn’t have a penis.

Newsom already endorsed Harris...thank god, because I think he is really terrible.

Harris' numbers are at least a little better than Biden's...and Trump is a very weak candidate. America is a very racist, sexist country, but it also has a tradition of antiracism. idk. I wouldn't abandon hope!
