I just don't think there's much evidence that Gaza had much of an effect. people stay home when they don't like either choice, and Biden and trump were both unpopular long before Gaza.
I don't think it makes much sense to blame this on Obama's corporate bailout either. Biden *very deliberately reversed Obama's stance* in responding to covid; that's why there was a massive stimulus package. Yet, he got basically no credit for it.
Problem is, the DNC will Never EVER nominate a true Progressive like Bernie Sanders (though not Bernie any more, because he's older than both Biden AND Trump!) until the foul spectre of Clinton NeoLiberalism is crushed underfoot like it's long deserved to be. I had hopes that Biden's half-measures would be enough for Americans to give him (and later Harris) another chance to push things further Left—but no, they chose a vinctive bully instead because he's "not like the other guys", even though he's crooked, rich, and White.
