I am curious, the element that I most liked in the original comic (which I think is great) was the way it went from goofy to very angry and that transition felt natural and earned. Does the adaptation capture the tone?
someone on social media said it's loud and frenetic to show how outrageous Nimona is, and I think that's the main tone, which kind of swamps everything else.
That doesn't sound like the tone of the comic (and maybe it's impossible to perfectly capture the tone, but that doesn't sound like what I want). Thanks.
Your media criticism is part of what led me to subscribe in the first place — you have such a way of distilling the main thing into a bite-sized but comprehensive piece. It's really compelling; I aspire to get on your level.

It kind of tries? I'm not sure it's really successful though...
