And, did anyone think he would do what he said he would do? And not do what he said he wouldn’t do ?

Black Americans- as our ability to vote is being taken away, warned everyone. We told everyone that the leopard would eat their face if Trump won, and the leopard is eating everyone’s faces except the billionaires.

There are millions of people who voted for trump and the gop,who actually live off the government. They live off of ssdi, snap, section 8 housing, medicaid, and they voted for the anti live off the government party. Why? Racism and sexism. That’s it. They would rather be homeless,

Hungry and sick than vote for a woman. Especially a Black woman.

As I get ready to live off the government and get medicare and social security, and care for my friend with cancer, I wish that people would vote for their best interest. Sigh.

Stanford researcher Baba Shiv found that the rational brain only constitutes about 5-10 percent decision making.

Theresa, what worries ME are the nonzero numbers of Black and Hispanic voters who voted for Trump—Who the FUCK are THEY looking down on that they think Trump will make them feel better by making those "other people" feel worse?

Was it because Kamala Harris was a Black Woman? Was it because she's part Southern Asian?

Not the first or likely the last catastrophic egotistical liar claiming success as he stands over the hungry, the homeless, the helpless and asks for applause..

The question is not why Trump's polls are so "terrible," but why they are not far worse.

Part of the answer is likely methodological, as pollsters more or less industry-wide, tweak their weightings rightward when elections come out to the right of their polls -- as they have consistently in the computerized voting era (see https://whowhatwhy.org/politics/us-politics/polling-101-clearing-up-some-misunderstandings/ and https://whowhatwhy.org/elections/polling-202-reason-for-hope/).

But beyond such considerations you have a grossly mis- and disinformed populace -- especially the MAGA cult -- who grasp very little about all the depredations you itemized. They don't cut Trump loose until the wolf blows down their own straw house -- e.g. by ruining or deporting a beloved neighbor, friend, or family member -- and often enough not even then.

That Trump is not in the single digits in approval reflects some combination of mass national psychosis and mass national stupidity.

it's because partisanship is very strong and a lot of people like fascism, I think.

"'it's because partisanship is very strong and a lot of people like fascism, I think."

...Especially the "A lot of People Like Fascism" part, so long as it doesn't touch THEM!

I didn't even need to know Frank Luntz's name to know he was a Trumptard MAGAt—he looks like a rabid bulldog, only less lovable.
