You never know—I used to be a Religious Conservative Republican myself, so I'm always glad to welcome walkaways.

Bernie Sanders isn't perfect, but he sure beats what's currently out there with a handful of (mostly minority female) exceptions just Jasmine Crockett, AOC, Ilhan Omar...and Al Green.

I mostly agree with everything you've written here, except going after Bernie Sanders like he's the "real problem", when Schmuck Schumer and Notorious P-Lousy Are Right There Being Corrupt NeoLib Obstructionists, Man!

I didn’t say he was the “real” problem. I said that he’s been kind of wobbly. I’ll stand by that.

But what ABOUT Schumer and Pelosi who ARE the Real Problem and need to be gotten rid of?

Well, Pelosi isn’t in leadership. Schumer does what his caucus wants. Senators need to be scared by a couple credible primary challenges.

She's looked at like she's still a leader so P-Lousy doesn't get off the hook THAT easy, at least not for me!

Schumer went on a rant about about DARE Americans not take Israel's side on one of their last attempts to commit genocide on Palestinians, so that "he does what his caucus wants" doesn't fly with me, either. He can just STFU about Israel forever, or admit he's the Senator from Jerusalem (Netanyahu-NY) so we can vote him out for keeps.

Well, I'm not one of the "we" any more b/c I live in New Jersey now, but I voted against him in all but his first election for being a NeoLib who was FAR too fond of Israeli Manifest Destiny.

I mean, you can be mad at her all you want, but she’s not in leadership. Jeffries is currently calling the e shots (or doing what the conference wants, which is more how that job works.)

She managed to keep AOC out of a leadership position in the Democratic Party earlier this year, so "she's not in leadership" doesn't really wash for me.

And ever since scotched a bill in 2022 prohibiting Members of Congress from insider trading? (https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/3669259-lawmakers-furious-at-pelosi-after-stock-trading-ban-stalls/ - b/c you seem to think I'm lying!) Pelosi's been dead to me.

no she didn’t. the caucus kept her out of a leadership position.

Because I know you'll keep insisting I'm a liar, here are the receipts:

AOC Shut Down By Pelosi for Chance at House Leadership Position- https://youtu.be/dVLrAuudIhs?si=YcoEyJQGBhgr6_Qy

Nancy Pelosi is reportedly working to block Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's bid to lead Democrats on the House Oversight Committee - https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=931888745559984

Gerry Connolly, 74, beat AOC’s bid to become lead Democrat on the House oversight committee thanks to Nancy Pelosi, 84 - https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/dec/21/aoc-centrist-politics-democrats-change

Nancy Pelosi is reportedly trying to block AOC from landing a top House oversight position - https://www.yahoo.com/news/nancy-pelosi-reportedly-trying-block-160334477.html

That doesn't sound like "The Caucus" to me, but two-faced POS Pelosi.

I didn't call you a liar. I think that Pelosi does not have some sort of hypnotic hold on the caucus; I think reporting often inflates the role of recognizable characters and doesn't really understand that the caucus generally does what it does because the caucus wants to, not because someone tricked them into doing it.
