I'm looking forward to seeing Hannah's new Netflix special.
True about breast cancer, the perky pink merchandise, the relentless positivity industry, so toxic for anyone with a serious diagnosis of any kind. Breast cancer marketing is definitely the worst offender.
More broadly, in relation to cancer, the instant resort to military metaphors, will fight, will win, because if anyone can, this person can. Cancer is the most passive disease imaginable, the patient is a passive vessel on the cancer treatment conveyor belt, nothing they do personally will cure or kill them. Yeti the asinine military metaphors persist. It's such a burden to put onto anyone.
Congrats, guys! Looking forward to listening.
