it's good! I think workers are also often as you say a primary subject for operant conditioning, so both readings make sense.

Thanks! :) It’s also occurred to me that “high-skill no-private-life employee” describes AIs too — as they’re idealized, especially. It’s not hard to see parallels between “Helly” and “Sidney.” PS: I’m chomping for season 2
