Truly a delight to read! I have loved writing haiku since discovering the form in (I think) the 4th grade. I especially like writing them for the cats 😸 I also think making memes is kind of like 21st-century visual haiku
I just wrote a cento based on "The Great Gatsby". Or to put it in Oulipian terms: The constraint was to search for "said" in the novel and collect all cases with a subject, said, and an adverb. There were 46 of them. Since my texts are 111 words long, I deleted nine of them (mostly to eliminate some repetitions of adverbs). And I kept them in the order that they appear in the novel. https://111-words.ghost.io/fitzgerald-said-incessantly-a-gatsby-cento/
