I’ve gotten a lot of new subscribers over the last month or so. I thought I’d share a few pieces from way back, when I had a hope and a dream but not a lot of readers (and when the Creature was still a kitten, as in the pic above!)
Most of these pieces are not paywalled. I prefer to make the writing open to all…but to do that I need your help! Paid subs make it possible for me to keep on keeping on. And subs today are 40% off, or $30/year. Since I post most days, that’s a pretty good bargain!
The sale has not exactly taken off as I’d hoped, and again I do rely on your contributions to keep going…so if you have the inclination/money/interest, I do hope some of you will come onboard.
Okay! Here’s some of my favorite pieces from way back when no one was reading.
On the downsides of gratitude.
One from 2019 on why people think Kamala Harris is inauthentic; still unfortunately relevant.
This one is actually one of my more read ones, I’ll admit. And again, I wish it weren’t relevant.
And this one is about my youthful misguided enthusiasm for Billy Joel. It is paywalled…but again, there’s a 40% off sale, so for just $30 you can keep me writing, feed the adorable kitties, AND read this cringe essay about my cringe musical taste!
Thanks for reading as always! We’ll be back with new writing tomorrow!
