nitpicking perhaps: doesn’t the court (judge) set bail bond amounts, not the prosecutor?

i think most prosecutors would oppose bail so as to put pressure on the arrested. either to plead out on cash fine sentences, to erode the ability to hire best counsel, or simply due to believing in the guilt of the charged and the strength of their case.

sure...but I think it's pretty important to remember that it's a terrible system that isn't mainly hurting trump, and indeed is set up to protect him and those like him.

The first “ad” for the paywall says $30 a month, pretty sure you didn’t mean that!

And yes, I agree. Trump didn’t even put down the 200k, he used a bail bondsman. Ridiculous. 10% down. What was even the point?
