Putting up roadblocks to fascism is the only answer. I would like to see the electoral college abolished too. All of the pieces of our system that were originally created to prop up slavery or appease slavers need to go, or be neutralized somehow.
Citizens united is probably required in order to abolish the electoral college. That and some other campaign finance reforms. Hopefully including prison time (or executions) for musk, theil, et all.

Yeah, it needs to go. Frankly it should have been tossed out decades ago.
I'd also argue that reversing citizens united is in the same ballpark.
Citizens united is a lot easier than the electoral college (and I think more damaging ultimately)

The electoral college is in the constitution. There’s not likely to be a path to abolishing it for some time, if ever.
