Thank you for this! It is so easy to buy into the idea that he got this major mandate from the public to do whatever he pleases, but that’s never been true. I hope people keep speaking out, demonstrating, and opposing his agenda.
As a participant it feels so important to know that I am not alone. I see all of the people around me (10,000 in my town!) from all backgrounds, and it gives me hope.
Resistance builds muscle. That’s how things work.
I was shocked at how many of my mild-mannered relatives and friends went to their local protests. It does matter. We have to keep the momentum going.
